I think I messed up my rotator cuff in yoga. The tendon feels really shitty, like it was out of place during my chattaranga, and squeezed into oblivion. I couldn’t find my breath today. I have a lot on my mind.
I decided to drink my daily serving of fruits and vegetables, so I started juicing and it’s brilliant. I like the idea of throwing shit in a blender and taking your creation to go in a simple cup (or Blender Bottle). The first few smoothies were pretty fucked up and super thick, until I realized that I need a liquid base (duh). Here’s today’s recipe, courtesy of the shit that was going bad in my fridge:
1 handful kale
1 handful spinach
4 oz strawberries
1/2 fuji apple
1 yellow nectarine
2 tbsp nonfat greek yogurt
1/2 cup pineapple juice (which my roommate added. I would skip this though)
1 cup almond milk
2 tbsp sugar (probably wouldn’t need this if I didn’t add the pineapple juice)
Made ~36 oz. of green goodness. My cheap blender takes longer to blend, so unless you have a Vitamix, you might want to make it the night before so it doesn’t heat up your smoothie. Cheers!

I loved these tacos! So creamy and crunchy and flavorful. Good dinner date with Mich! They also had this delicious Faux-stess Cupcake, a healthy version of the famous Hostess Cupcake. I forgot to take a picture before it got knocked around in its takeout box, then devoured in minutes. Seriously, amazing!

I just finished my homework -___-
Damn you extra Saturday session! I really hope taking all of these classes pays off. I think I should be more concerned about getting my letters. Wife recommended a book, Kitchen Table Confidential, which I hope will inspire me in the years to come. I hate to say that I haven’t paid for a book in a while (I blame digital files on the Kindle..), but I’m excited for this to come to my door. I’m very proud of myself for studying so hard so I can rage guilt-free tomorrow night. Bag Raiders and Fred Falke at Detroit Bar! I’ve never seen Fred Falke, so it should be a lot of fun. I think Autoerotique is gonna be in Santa Ana tomorrow too, but I had to make the obvious choice.
